Summer S.K.A.T.E.S.H.E.D. Showdown

This will be a summer long FREE event that will culminate in the final round being the highlight of an overall park contest to be held in late July/early August. It is a one-on-one Berrics style flat ground S.K.A.T.E. contest. There are still a couple spots left; once all spots are filled, we will assign dates and let you know who will be skating against whom. For a complete list of rules, click here. You can watch some of the games on the “Pictures/Videos” link above. Due to technical difficulties, the third game of the first round, and one semi-final match is not viewable online. In the third game, Kurtis Smith beat Tyler McFarlin by forfeiture. In the semi-final match between Lance Hudson and Nic Bowlin, Lance beat Nic by one letter (S.K.A.T.E.S.H.E. to S.K.A.T.E.S.H.E.D.).

The Final game between BK Brennan and Lance Hudson is scheduled for this weekend. The final match will be played at the best of park contest at Noon on 7-31-10.

The Skate Shed Closet

We are now buying and selling slightly used skate clothes. If you have some skate apparel sitting in the back of your closet that you don’t wear, bring it in to The Skate Shed and we’ll give you some cash! You can also use it to get skate time, or even toward a purchase. Come on by and see what we already have in stock (pants as low as $10/pr, and shirts as low as $5!).

The Skate Shed is an indoor skate park in Uptown Columbus, GA. It features obstacles such as a mini ramp ( 4’ tall with a 5’ extension), assorted banks and quarter pipes, bank to box, wall ride, lips, ledges, rails, benches, and curbs. Skaters from every experience level will enjoy skating this park!
